Tammie Ferringer

Tammie Ferringer, MD, is the section head of dermatopathology and the director of the Dermatopathology Fellowship Program at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She earned her medical degree at Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency in dermatology at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Ferringer finished her fellowship in dermatopathology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. In addition to her routine service in the hospital, Dr. Ferringer is also on the editorial board for Cutis,an assistant editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an ex-officio member of the ASDP MOC Committee. Moreover, Dr. Ferringer is co-author and editor with Dr. Dirk Elston for the book: Dermatopathology: Expert Consult, 2e.
