Nadia El-Hamdi is an MD/PhD Candidate at Texas A&M University School of Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Houston Honors College. She completed her graduate research in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology in 2022. In her medical training, she has earned the distinctions of Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society and Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honors Society. Nadia is an active volunteer for the A&M Women in Science and Engineering Outreach Program, serves on the A&M MD/PhD Seminar Series Selection Committee, and plans to apply for a dermatology residency.

Dr. John Griffin is the managing physician of dermatopathology as well as a clinical dermatologist at the multispecialty Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. He earned his MD at UT Houston Medical School, now UT McGovern Medical School, and completed his residency in dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Griffin completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York City. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Griffin is also a member of the editorial board for Cutis and is on the ASDP Virtual Slide Committee.
